As of 1-4-2012, Please Do Not leave TB's in the Fields Landing-area caches. 5 TB's marked as missing today; My apologies to the owners. One or more of the caches may need archiving after this...we shall see what turns up. Please contact me with any info on the missing trackables' whereabouts.

I'm glad to see that the 2 that I dropped off in The Landing have turned up. As for the ones from Whalers' Dry Dock, did you check the logbook? Sometimes you can figure out who took a trackable by seeing if someone signed the log but didn't log the cache online. Or someone who logged the cache online may have forgotten to log the trackable, or may be a new cacher who doesn't know how to log it. In either case, a polite email asking them if they took it may be helpful.

Unfortunately, some trackables, especially geocoins, do get stolen by people who don't sign the log or log the cache online. There's not much we can do about that.

Travel items: (Bugs, Tags, Coins)

Unfortunately, a poorly understood subset of our game.

Casual visitors to the game unfortunately treat the items as routine swag.

Hopefully your items have been picked up by folks who understand the T.I. aspect of the game and are just a bit late in logging. ( The 101 corridor does see Snow and Rainbirds ... Once at their destinations perhaps they will perform their tasks ).

One can only hope nefariousness is not a factor.

I went to Picky Picky Picky yesterday to look for decon containers, but I couldn't find any and the clerk had never heard of them.

Does anyone know of another local source for them?
