c:geo for the Android phone and the Groundspeak app for the iPhone. I used the iPhone app to find two Wherigo caches and two traditional caches (when we didn't have our GPSrs with us). I don't think I would ever want to use a smart phone for geocaching (vs a GPSr), but they are great for looking up caches on the fly and posting field notes after each cache find (or DNF).

We have been having trouble with our GPSr lately (we might have overloaded it with too many PQs, oops!) and have found C:geo to be invaluable. We have probably found as many caches in the last month with C:geo as we have without it. (We have Android phones.)
The groundspeak app works fine, but we really like the live map function on c:geo--and it tends to be more accurate, and it loads faster.

We also have had ZERO issues logging from C:Geo. Also, full cache info is easier to access.

I had to come back and add more kudos to c:geo. We placed a cache today, and found that the 'show circles' option on the live map is an excellent tool for placing caches! It shows a 528 foot radius around all caches nearby--thereby eliminating the "your cache is too close to another" reviewer note. We were VERY pleased with it!

Disregard...It turns out the circles were NOT our friends today! We'll be out moving our cache tomorrow!
