A new website,
Opencaching.us, was launched today.
"Welcome to Opencaching.us, the free and open geocaching site. This site's success depends on YOU, the geocaching community. If you are a cache owner, we invite you to submit your cache to our database. If you have logged finds on another site, you are encouraged to log those finds here if the cache is listed. If not, let those cache owners know about this site so they can submit their caches. If you have geocaching friends, we hope that you will tell them about this site. Our goal is to help the community grow, to get more people interested in geocaching and we feel the best way to do this is to offer a feature packed site, full of information and all at no cost to the end user."
