Nylimb reached 1,800 finds! He marked the milestone at a MuggleN0More cache, on a bicycle, and without a GPSr.

I feel honored that he found my cache for the milestone and awed by his caching prowess.

Wow, by the 4th? If I could cache all day every day I might be able to make that.

Let see, if I can find 2.7 every day for the next 183 days, that would be do-able. But I have to work, so if I were to cache only on Friday's (day off) then I need to find 19 each of the next 26 Fridays. If my family would let me cache on every day off, Friday through Sunday then in those 78 days I need only 6.4 finds each day. If that were actually something my family would let me do (they won't), where would I be able to find them nearby? At last estimate there are only 200ish caches left for me in Humboldt. I'm not sure how many of those I've tried multiple times and DNFed (not logged though). That number also includes all the puzzle caches that I can not solve .

I do know that I've got another 41 (including temporarily archived) SweetJ tortures left to find!

We need more new cache hides folks!

But GSAK doesn't think I can get the next 500 until 1-2011

Yesterday (28. december 2009) the danish geocachers Picht and Elmbaek found a record breaking 480 caches in 20 hours. 251 in Denmark and the rest in Sweden. 2 hours transport between the found places included in the 20 hours.

Fundet sammen med Picht. Vi tog til Nordsjællands Powertrail for at tage en bid af denne. Men da vi efter 7 timer havde fundet samtlige 250 cacher besluttede vi at fortsætte dagen i Halmstad.
Fundet som nummer 384 af dagens 480 cacher!
