Any suggestions from all you experienced cachers on getting rid of a stubborn case of poison oak? Besides staying out of it in the first place, I mean! We are usually very careful, but one of the team (me) managed to encounter some somewhere. Hmmm... caching, maybe? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When I think I've been anywhere near poison oak I always scrub down with Tecnu when I get home. If you miss the opportunity to diminish the first exposure, my dermatologist recommends getting the shot or the pills if it is acute. And I have had some severe cases of poison oak! With Tecnu I've been able to limit any outbreaks to small areas, and therefore I've opted to forego taking Prednisone with its nasty side effects.

Bleach probably works but I've always felt that it's all about the application----A wire brush.
