Could you all please define AMD and ALR?

ALR: Alternative Logging Requirements. Cut the hand off - might have to find another way to log the cache.

Also a tongue in cheek toward a sometimes volatile / ugly thread on Groundspeak Forums / Fora where cache owners have additional requirements for logging a find.

A major controversy reared it's ugly head when some cache owners demanded photos with a finders logging and proceeded to play hardball when a finder did not upload photos that met the cache owners criteria.

Best not to jump into that issue if you are sensitive and or lack a very thick skin
